Bug Description

I have connected USB speakers, while I was using Kubuntu 9.04. From web guides I learned I need to install PulseAudio for USB speakers to work. It did work, but only for my user (I have other users on the system), and it did not work with Flash movies - they had no sound.

I have upgraded to 10.04 - and the sound situation stayed the same. I had to move the speakers to another USB port, and now all sound is gone.

I played with PulseAudio some more. After purging all Pulse related packages, and removing etc files, I reinstalled Pulse. I then rebooted the machine - and now it seems to work. Not sure how and why, but I am happy to hear sound again! Still, other users of the system do not have sound. Is this a known issue?
