gnome-keyboard-properties 'Adding keyboard layout disappears

Hello , i tried to add a keyboard layout .. so i did

Step 1 - went to System - Preferences - Keyboard

2- From layouts tab / i clicked Add.

 3- selected a layout by language.

4- selected the Arabic Layout.

5- to conform it i clicked Add from Bottom.

 i used it then after a period of time .. the Keyboard applet disappeares .!

in the same time .. in Keyboard Preferences / layouts tab it's showing as been Added.

So , To set it back again i did :

1- Removed it and Added it again

Hello john , USA is the Default Keyboard Layout .. and now i added more layout to see if the the same issue would happen .

Confirming , the issue no longer exists on Maverick final release.
