I face the problem that no code is actually saved to my local drive.

I select a branch in a project and either enter "local copy" or new working tree (with different name). Then I confirm the dialogue.
A small window pops up showing a prgress bar telling that cod eis being retrieved. Looking at the file explorer I see that the folder contains no new code.

Just to add: this happens with code branched from LP

It should make a directory and put the code in it. Do you have code in the branch?

OK so what you need to do is make a file called 'groundcontrol.log' in your home folder, this will fill up with logs when you next restart your computer. Try to download your code again and then post here that log file.

Any Idea why this happens?
May I should deinstall GC delete all confugurationes (where) and then reinstall?

The error seems to be saying that it needs winrandom module, this is very odd. I don't think reinstalling will help and at the moment I have no fix.

I did not see any reference to the winrandom module in my log.

I tried to run GC from source but it does not work.
