To reproduce:
1. select any text in gnome-terminal that includes whitespace.
2. Copy (either use Ctrl-Shift-C or context menu or toolbar menu).
3. Paste int any application and see that text after whitespace is missing.

not here, what i did was an ls -lastr select a few lines and paste those into gedit that worked fine, I've tried something like " 5025 2007-10-26 18:00 blah.ogg" .Could you give us a few easy steps in order to reproduce the issue? Is that reproducible with terminator (Terminal emulator) Thanks.
