Per conversation on IRC, this has been fixed in Firefox 7 and on which is available in Oneiric. Natty will get Firefox 7 on Sept 27. We now ship the Firefox language packs in the firefox source, so nothing to do for the langpack task. Please report any other issues you may find.
It will be fixed in Lucid when we migrate to Firefox 7 or higher. We're not sure when that will be at present.
