svg files use low quality preview

When you have SVG type file on desktop, and you want to change size of it's icon the extended icon (preview) is in very bad quality (pixelated). But when you select this file as it's own icon preview is in extremely good quality (generated directly from svg). Preview for SVG files should be the source SVG file (maybe simplified vector type, but still vector).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

apport-collect 628703

This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. This is a view of normal SVG file on desktop (newly created) it is crisp na nice.

This is the same file with enlarged preview, it is very ugly.

This is the same file, but with itself selected by icon (by properties of file dialog).

This is file used for tests, maybe the small size of image in the header of file is the reason for such behaviour? Sorry for flood.

thanks gluth, that's a known issue and a duplicate of bug 380312
