After installing Ubuntu on an iMac G3 400MHz with an ATI Rage 128 VR, the screen looks like it is in a very low colour mode as if the graphics card isn't detected properly.

I tried the instructions for getting it setup at http://tjworld.net/wiki/Linux/Ubuntu/PowerPC/AppleiMacG3#Bug:Xorgdoesntusehigh-resolutiontrue-colourmode but this didn't work. Will upload updated logs.
