My computer locks up whenever it wants. The screen blinks with verticale lines across the top half. The only way to get back online is to unplug the tower.

Bug Description

  I can't figure out when my machine shuts down. It does it several times but always returns to where I left off after I unplug it & plug it back on.

Please run this command(Alt+F2 or terminal) to upload some log files that will help the devs:
apport-collect 628178

This bug is missing log files that will aid in dianosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 628178

and then change the status of the bug back to 'New'.
