Bug Description

Sorry for my English!

The problem with this sound card is that it's not working at every
system start. Sometimes sound is not starting at system start.

Is helping the reloading of alsa modules:

$ sudo /sbin/alsa force-reload

This problem is very old, it was present when I started to use ubuntu
7.04. The problem is present with pulse and with alsa. Now I'm using
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx "Linux siroja 2.6.32-24-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP
Thu Aug 19 01:12:52 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux".
At first i was thinking that the problem was because of my motherboard
integrated sound card. I blocked the sound card from bios, and puted
the modules of that in blacklist.conf, but the problem didn't
disappear. I put the folowing alsa modules in /etc/modules to load them
at start:

snd
snd_usb_audio
snd_hwdep
snd_usbmidi_lib
snd_ice1724
snd_ice17xx_ak4xxx
snd_ac97_codec
snd_ak4xxx_adda
snd_ak4114
snd_pt2258
snd_i2c
snd_ak4113
snd_pcm_oss
snd_mixer_oss
snd_pcm
snd_page_alloc
snd_seq_dummy
snd_seq_oss
snd_seq_midi
snd_rawmidi
snd_seq

but it's not helping

I changed the sound cards boot order:

$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/soundcardorder.conf
options snd_ice1724 index=0
options snd_usb_audio index=1

I installed the latest version of alsa packages (1.0.23):

alsa-driver-1.0.23
alsa-lib-1.0.23
alsa-utils-1.0.23
alsa-firmware-1.0.23
alsa-plugins-1.0.23

But it still not working.

I don't know what to do. I atached the result of: dmesg, hwinfo, lshw,
lspci, cat /proc/modules, cat /proc/asound/cards, and lsusb. I also
atached a picture of my "Gembird SC-5.1-1" sound card.

P.S. This letter and the info about my sistem and hardware was wrote
with non working sound.
