My eclipse 3.5 crash also when I click menu.
When I switch to English language setting, seem OK.(Menu System->Administration-Language support, and drag English to first place, re-login).Both Erich editor and Eclipse.

So, my this is because of chinese language setting??

Oh, after switch language, Eric seem Ok,
but eclipse crash often.
