Bug Description
I run chbg to rotate through images for my root window. Whenever the desktop image changes the shape of all of the desklets, filled with the background image, appears above everything for a split second. This includes above fullscreen video playback and other applications which have trouble redrawing themselves, often resulting in a section of the window above the desklet no longer being updated.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install adesklets and chbg
2) Run chbg with a selection of images
3) Download and install a desklet, such as the ModuBar http://
4) Play a fullscreen video
Notice that the root window will appear for a split second then a black area will be left behind on the video (this may depend on the player. It does with "Flash Video" files in MPlayer)
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Thanks in advance.
