Firefox Bookmark Bar does not show Bookmarks

I have some extra extensions installed, but this flaw is still apparent with ALL the Firefox extensions disabled.

There are no bookmarks appearing in the Bookmark Bar in the main GUI - present and workable in the "Favorites/Bookmarks" menu, and there ARE bookmarks to be used in the "Bookmarks Toolbar" section.

Not sure where to take that from here. It's not totally horrible, but is still a tad backward. I'm trying to use Firefox more (as Firefox is "compatible" with more mainstream sites over Chrome which still has issues) but it's lost functionality is trying.

Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to improve Ubuntu. Could you please answer the following questions.

Try this:
Go to View > Toolbars > Customize. Is there a section labeled "Bookmarks Toolbar Items?"

If there isn't: Scroll down until you can see text labeled bookmarks. Drag and drop that text onto the bar you want to have your bookmarks on. If that doesn't work, or doesn't apply, please let me know.

Genius! Exactly the thing!

In the toolbar customize options, it's just labelled "bookmarks" yet changes to "Bookmarks Toolbar items" when it's dragged onto the toolbar.

This works a treat. I feel a right idiot!
