Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Laptop has an uptime of 9 days, with suspends overnight. Today I noticed gnome-power-manager using a combined of 240mb ram, which is way too much - unless it's doing amazing magic that I'm not aware about.

Just wanted to add that at the time I killed the valgrind process, it reached over 100mb, though when starting new with valgrind it was already at 70mb.

My gnome-power-manager once has over 100mb and another time it was over 300mb.

Here's another valgrind memcheck log with full symbols for all packages in the stack, so you can more easily decipher the full call stacks, etc. This is from running for 24 hours (or slightly less).
