Duplicate of bug #453931“Inkscape fails to start on Windows 7”?

Bug #453931 has been reported for various Windows 7 and also Vista installations (see comments and duplicates) - as randomly as the error starts to occur, many users reported that after some time (possibly incl. several reboots of the OS) Inkscape started working again.

Uninstalled / Reinstalled a fresh copy, rebooted..it is back to normal again..hope it stays this way until you figure out why it was bahaving this way.
