delete read from USR-i386-20100824.iso lose icons on f3 ring and listing. only journal has .xo files installed

Bug Description
1) Burned USR-i386-
2) Booted Cd
The only application installed is Read-78 ( possibly in /usr/share/
3) Used drop down menu in flat listing of applications to delete read-78.
What happened:
Lost ALL of the ASLO installed .xo file Icons from ring and from flat listing. Only way to start applications is with journal listing.
terminal ls command shows them in /home/(

changed to USR-i386-
USR-i386-20100824 only gets to console init 1 login (does not seem tohave X installed start-x does not work,) much smaller .iso mage size than 823.
