Bug Description
Themes Ambiance, Radiance: the panel size seems to be hardcoded to 24 pixels. When set to 36 pixels. There is an horizontal line breaking the panel at 24 pixels.
If you fix this bug. please make a generic fix which will work for any size. Please don't hard code for just 24 or 36. Because someone else will probably use another panel size.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. However, a papercut is meant to be a small bug that a single personal can fix in a short amount of time.
This bug relates to the way gnome-panel draws the panel bg, and is not a trivial task.
I am marking this bug invalid in papercuts, however this bug has already been confirmed in the light themes here: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ light-themes/ +bug/532309
