Bug Description

I have just installed Ubuntu 10.04 onto a computer with an AGP Radeon 9600XT Bravo, The motherboard is an nForce 3 Asus K8N. Going by the error messages and worse performance over Windows, I think there is something wrong with the AGP.

On bootup I get some error messages (reproduced from dmesg so may not be exactly as they appear on the bootsplash):

[ 17.367200] nForce2_smbus 0000:00:01.1: Error probing SMB1.
