Chameleon (1.2.10) crashes with "bad" templates

If an invalid template is used, e.g. tal:attribute BUT the value specification is missing an expression

<img tal:attributes="src "/>

get exception:

IndexError: tuple index out of range

Setting CHAMELEON_DEBUG=true in shell environment has no impact.

See attached test case (test case also has example of paths not working (which I think is a bug too but I'm not 100%)

Could it be that you reported this bug to the wrong project?

I've been trying out http://chameleon.repoze.org/docs/latest/ and it links to this url https://bugs.launchpad.net/chameleon I've noticed a few problems so I thought I'd try and report 1 to see how that went. I don't have any other contact information other than the mailing list. I may not pursue this any further. You may end up getting other people here though so if you can find contact information for them maybe they could correct their web page.
