Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I just installed maverick from todays iso on an Acer Extensa 5630Z. The install process went very well overall, but the keyboard layout autodetection did nothing. The window with the keys to press appeared. There was no reaction to pressing them. The window would not close. I selected the layout from the list instead and proceeded to install. I was able to move the window out of the way. It hung around for the rest of the install process.
