black screen with desktop-cd and ati grafik card

I have a black screen, if I start the desktop-cd 10.04.1 i386 in live mode. This problem was also with the cd of 10.04.

My grafik card: Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512 MB AGP

The live-CD of Ubuntu 10.10 works perfectly. I prefer to use LTS. I'm waiting for the release of Ubuntu 10.04.2.

Summary:

Ubuntu 10.04 + 10.04.1 --> black screen
Ubuntu 10.10 --> correct screen, but X freezed after some minutes. "another bug :-("

Ubuntu 11.04 i386 live-cd
unity --> broken
gnome (nomodeset) --> works

Hi,
I have a black screen with lucid-live-cd (10.04., 10.04.1 and 10.04.2) but i don't know why.
Maverick-live-cd freezed after some minutes.
And natty-live-cd works with gnome (nomodeset) but doesn't work with unity --> broken menu and windows
