Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS AMD64
gnome-power-manager 2.30.0-0ubuntu1
Whenever the battery is full and I disconnect the power adapter, Ubuntu wants me to standby or hibernate (depending on what is configured for the action of "when battery is critically low"). If I click cancel on the dialog, it preforms the action anyway. Using a standby/hibernation preventing applet does not help. There is no option to turn off this broken functionality.
Please Fix.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.
