you realize that this is a very general description for a bug, isn't it?

But I guess you may be right that this bug already is a very general issue. I
suspect, too, that the current architecture of the openerp-client-web is using
too much javascript, which might bring some browsers (if not all) to their
capacity limits.
We'd be interested to know (anybody can actually test and answer), which
browser fails first, how many forms, what OS, how's the memory usage and cpu
when the browser fails to respond etc.
Still, I'm not optimistic that we could make /any/ browser be able to open too
many forms at any case. There will be a practical limit, always.

i am using latest firefox on opensuse 11.3 with 4GB ram ....

but what I meant with "many" is not many at once, but to many to report .. looks like a general issue.

Hello Dr. Ferdinand,

We had tested in past and we did not face this.
As of now, this has been disabled on web client.
The bug #688287 talks about opening forms in new tabs, the fix of which will close this one as well.

Re-open this one or notify us if still there is a problem with this.
