Bug Description

"I have the latest version of Ubuntu and I am having a problem using my removable drives such as USB pen drive and SD card . Every time I plug them in, I get an error message that reads "Unable to mount... - Not authorized". "

I'm having the same problems as this user.

The suggested solution won't work for me because in "Users and Groups", when I select my user and click "Advanced Settings" nothing happens. It looks like the button registers the press but nothing comes up.

It's the same when I click "Change ..." beside my Account Type or the "Change .." beside my username.

"Manage Groups" does pop a screen however.

I've tried 2 SD cards and a USB drive - same issue with all of them.

This all used to work fine for me - please help a Newbie out Ubuntu folk !

Sorry, should say that I'm running the latest UNR on an EEE PC 701

Downloaded latest everything from "Update Manager"

Noticed that the netbook wasn't shutting down properly so did a hard reboot (finger on the power button)

Everything works fine now !

Hope this helps someone.
