Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

Hi,

I installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my new Dell Inspiron 14R with Intel HD graphics . Problem is I am not able to adjust the brightness either using brightness applet or the hot keys.

I tried to disable the ACPI driver by changing the /etc/default/grub content to acpi_backlight=vendor, but still same issue.

It seems like new feature request
