Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
From Ubuntu Linux 10.04 (64bit) with Firefox v3.6.8:
I like to stream net radio in the background while I visit other sites.
Randomly (about 75% of the time), if I close another tab, the tab with streaming radio (a Flash app) stops (page goes blank and audio stops). No crash message or warning of any kind. The browser does not crash, but I must reload the page to get my radio back.
Even if I open an entirely new browser window, closing tabs (or the browser itself), still causes the tab that is actively streaming (in the other Firefox window) to crash.
I do not know if this happens with other Flash apps as I haven't found anything similar to test the bug with. But it is irrelevant, since the activity of one tab should have no affect on any other.
