This started with an attempt to "improve this website" after following the link from the Isadora introductory screen

I had the same problem but sorted it by renaming the extension from .JPG to .jpg. Capital letters are not obviously recognized. Hope this helps you and others.

I was able to change avatar putting an image smaller that 100X100.

With 90 X 90 works OK. A warning should appear...
