Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Pressing the SKIP button in Ubiquity during a WUBI install stops the package lupin being installed with the result that grub cannot detect the loopmounted install.
After completing the installation, wubildr still retrieves the grub menu from the root.disk but only the external OS's are available (usually just Windows).

When you chroot into the wubi install you can see that everything is there except not the lupin packages and the 10_lupin scripts in /etc/grub.d/ that are required to get the wubi install added to grub.cfg.

I've the same issue. I try to reinstall and I'm sure that I haven't clicked on next, I still don't have the boot option.
Is it possible that this also happens when you have no internet connection? I've een HTPC with a wireless connection. During the ubiquity there is no connection avaible. I can't confirm it, because I can't get my HTPC to a wired connection.

@Laurens-Jan,
I never install with an internet connection. So I don't think that has anything to do with this bug. The only instances I've seen of it are when the user clicking the SKIP button, and it seems - based on feedback - that reinstalling is always successful.
So perhaps you have some other issue.
