Maverick: once ubuntu-sso-login is started it uses high cpu and never exits

Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-sso-client
In 2 different setups - when opening Ubuntu One Preferences then ubuntu-sso-login is started. It consumes large amounts of cpu and will run continually for the life of the session.
This is without ever connecting (ubuntuone is disabled from startup.
As of now it's been going for 4+ hrs. - with stats same as the attached log (20 reports over 80 secs
