my thunderbird crashed even from terminal, but it doesn't show any errors..
so I attached the log of strace...I think that the problem is related with the fact that when I updated to the latest version of Thunderbird 3.1.3 (in Maverick beta), in the initial configuration window of TB I chose to mantain old configuration..
don't know if the problem is related to that of this bug, hope so..

Thunderbird 3.1.3+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

I upgraded tb to the latest version..but I had to solve the problem by myself..
this is what i did:
after upgrading, TB was still not starting..so I went to the home folder and tried to change TB configuration..
I made a lot of attempts and after 3 hours I realized that in the home folder there was a .thunderbird file that was corrupted..I deleted it and TB started prompting the migration window again..
I guess that the first migration window made something wrong because before that everything worked perfectly..
could you control if the migration window works in the right way?
thanks.. :)
