failed to spawn spreadahead main process

Bug Description

Upon startup as the system is booting I get the message:

failed to spawn spreadahead main process

and then the computer pauses for half a minute and then boots properly. There is no spreadahead in ubuntu so far as I can tell from google so how can I make this stop.
