On the copyright/about page (third in, including title), there's a rendering error in the URL to buy the manual.

Ah, that's not a rendering error. I'm currently debugging/editing the manual, so I've told LaTeX to draw those slugs/squares at the ends of lines that extend past the margin. I'll turn them off before I publish the final version.
Thanks for reporting this, though.
