Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic

with recent kernels USB remote receivers using the lirc-mceusb driver are no longer able to wake the system from S3. Problem was first introduced with linux-image-2.6.32-23-generic. A revision of the patch which caused this misbehavior is already available:

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-2.6.32.y.git;a=commitdiff;h=9ba6cac516c3ed804241b7ced552a3ad60a21a06;hp=768c810fdef3421ad80a2637b789b3f79d80e9cb

Please apply this patch to the Lucid kernel.
