I was just thinking about how this could be implemented. In the preferences, you could choose a service -- weather.com, wunderground (weather underground), google weather, whatever.

Then, when you bring up the forecast in the indicator, either there would be a link to the radar map for that day (clicking it would open the browser); or instead of a link you could simply click anywhere on the panel for that day within the indicator forecast, and that click would open your browser and take you to the radar map. (Redundant pic attached.)

I'm no coder, but I know wunderground, weeather.com and accuweather have api's:

wunderground: http://wiki.wunderground.com/index.php/API_-_XML
weather.com: http://www.programmableweb.com/api/weather-channel
accuweather: http://www.programmableweb.com/api/accuweather

...and as I was grabbing those, found that programmableweb currently has links to 14 weather api's:

Hi,

I think it would be great if this indicator could integrate with a radar service like Rain Alarm (try out their Chrome and Firefox extensions, or Windows extensions).

Their website+extensions+apps alert you when rain is within a certain radius of your location, so you can get the washing off the line, go to the shop and be back before it starts raining and so on.

Thank-you.
