Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Cannot start firefox as a non-admin user following upgrade to 3.6.8.

Would provide more info but about 1 hour of documentation an reporting lost after I clicked one of the links below.
Tried all kinds of downgrades, reloads, restarts, reboots, all without success.

Sorry about not sending more information, but I'm PISSED that all my work was lost because Launchpad does not either:
a. Return to the intact window or
b. Open the link in another tab.
but that's another bug...

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Could you please try running firefox from a terminal as a non-admin user and report the console output. You could also try a new profile:
firefox -ProfileManager
