kate: icon for unmodified files missing

In kate's document list on the left there are different icons for different states of opened files. There is a nice floppy disk for modified files, but when a file is unmodified, it shows an icon with a question mark.

(I am assuming, that this is a fallback icon and that the real one is missing and therefor this is a packaging bug. Don't know if that's true, though)

BTW: in previous versions unmodified files didn't show an icon.

This bug report is for kde 4.5.0 packages installed from ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports on lucid.

Log out of KDE and remove KDE cache (/tmp/kde-$USER, /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER). It seems to have fixed this problem for me.

I actually did one ore thing, maybe that's the fix.

Put a 16x16 transparent PNG called null.png into /usr/share/icons/oxygen/16x16/actions (assuming you're using Oxygen icon theme; you can get one from Mandriva's kate RPM). Then logout, remove caches and log in back again.

IIRC this is also a issue when running KDE from svn, so should this be forwarded upstream? or is there a file missing from our oxygen-icons package?

This has been fixed in kdesdk 4:4.5.1-0ubuntu1.

/usr/share/kde4/apps/kate/icons/oxygen/16x16/actions/null.png was missing in the package.
