Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Running lucid on a samsung r580.
Boots fine when plugged into the mains. When on battery power it freezes at the login screen. Similarly when logged on and running on mains power, pulling the power call causes a freeze.
Killing gnome-power-manager fixes the problem.
