Convert lead to opportunity => merge with existing opportunity

Trunk => I want to convert a lead to an opportunity. When I select "Merge with existing opportunity", the system shows a screen with the title Select opportunities, but it shows an empty list of Leads, instead of opportunities. Please change the label.

Indeed, I now see a related opportunity. But the weird thing is that when I open the Opportunity, it shows the original lead that created the opportunity. That's a bit confusing, I think. It would be better to directly show the opportunity concerned and not the initial lead of that opportunity.

Hi Els Van Vossel,

When you want to merge a "Opportunity" from "Lead" it self, then first of all you need to create "Opportunity",
Make sure "Opportunity" having same partner as in "Lead".

You can follow these steps...

  1) "Lead" with partner ABC
  2) "Opportunity" with partner ABC
  3) Go to "Lead" in that "Merge with existing opportunity" you can get "Select opportunities"
  4) That list contains "Opportunities" with partner ABC

Let me know if still it is not clear, or I am wrong.
