New field: effort

Not all tasks take the same effort to get done. One tasks may be a change to be done in a minute. Another task may be a small project that takes two days. To get a better impression I would like to have an additional field "effort" per task.

That could also help to realize where tasks may be due tomorrow but have a two-day effort so they can't realistically be done until the deadline.

Isn't effort more related to project management tools? It seems to be a bit out of place on GTG which tries to be simpler than those sort of tools.

Feel free to close this bug report. I admit that GTG might not be the right tool for managing all of my tasks. I was trying to apply kind of a "Getting Things Done" workflow with GTG but it doesn't seem to fit well enough. Thank you for considering my request though.
