As I was new to bug submitting, I reported a duplicate of this bug (62823). The author of kdesvn provides a fix for this, so please upgrade as soon as possible.

I'm on Edgy Eft, using kdesvn 0.8.5-1

kdesvn makes konqueror crash often when using the context menu. This bug has been solved on 21 sept 2006 by the author according to his bugtracker:

Additionally to popping up error dialogs when using the context menu on webpages/in file management mode, konqi crashes quite often.
Also it takes a whole lot longer for the context menus to appear with kdesvn's desktop files in place.

rm $KDEDIR/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/kdesvn_subversion*
gets rid of the crashes, error dialogs and laggy context menus."

Confirmed in my installation also.

kdesvn as packaged with Edgy will cause a crash in kded, effectively making kdesvn unusable with the distro.

According to http://kdesvn.alwins-world.de/ticket/92 this should be fixed in 0.9.x, so since Ubuntu Feisty.
