Bug Description
It seems like it's applying loose logic on the search. We should be strict and only return results that match the exact letters (and order). The user can still hunt and peck if they don't know the proper spelling since we're updating the results after each letter.

It searches all the fields in the contact, not just the name, that's why it might look like it's returning contacts that don't match, but they do match indeed. For instance, if you search for 'canonical', it will show all contacts with that string in any field (email address, company name, etc). This is what bug #551602 is about, so marking this as duplicate
