Bug Description
Firefox doesn't do localised google searches when using the either the Ubuntu Start homepage or the search bar in the upper right corner of the screen.
For example if I am in New Zealand and I search for something it is searching google.com, when it should be using google.co.nz.
This is important since localised searches usually give better and more relevant results.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. However, this is not a valid paper cut because this issue is not very simple to fix and needs some consideration and discussion before a fix can be implemented.
The issue you are reporting was reported previously, so I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of bug #294187. Please follow the conversation there from now on.
