Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Using the Ubuntu Edgy Knot 3 LiveCD for i386 (edgy-desktop.iso) on a system with two IDE drives.

On the installer screen for choosing the option of either automatically partition or manually partition, options for auto partitioning hda and hdb were shown.
Choosing "partition manually", the partitioner on the next screen only saw hda. The dropdown box on the top-right corner of the partitioner only had one option, for hda.

Same here. Really annoying.

It also didn't see it when, after installing Edgy beta, I ran Gparted manually. See also: https://launchpad.net/bugs/63519
