Bug Description

Please change settings so that branches now display residents of subbranches as part of their resident list.
Canonlore can obviously calculate which are the subbracnches as it does so on the branch screen eg http://www.sca.org.au/canon/branch.php?show=subs&id=23

I think the OP screen per branch should definately list everyone in the branch AND everyone in the subbranch in one list:
 ie this screen http://www.sca.org.au/canon/branch.php?show=op&id=23
Probably best for the screen title on the middle of the page to read
"Krae Glas Order of Precedence (including subgroups)"

I think the resident's screen should probably list everyone in the subgroups too, but am less worried about this than for the lochac screen
ie this screen http://www.sca.org.au/canon/branch.php?show=residents&id=23
Probably best for the screen title on the middle of the page to read
"Residents of Krae (including subgroups)"
It would probably be nice to have some marker for whom are residents of subgroups too eg if the listing could have an asterisk before or after the name of someone in the subgroup, that would work nicely. This would be kinda nifty on the OP too.
It would need a line of text at the bottom saying something like "An asterisk (*) placed beside a person's name indicates they are resident in a subgroup of this group."

Similarly, events might or might not have such a listing. I think subgroup events should only be listed with an annotation, as they are officially hosted by the subgroup. (eg http://www.sca.org.au/canon/branch.php?show=events&id=23)

Annother option might be tickbox filters. A tickbox under the title named "include subgroups" on the three above mentioned screens would leave the descision of what to have in displayed in the listing. In fact it's probably a more elegant solution in terms of user interface, but It's probably more difficult in terms of programming, and testing compliance for acessibility and alternate browsers.

Or maybe you can think of a better option? Throw some ideas around please!

Made a start on this: The OP screen now displays all residents of current subbranches as well as residents of the branch.

Note that Krae Glas is currently not considered a subbranch of Lochac, so residents of Krae Glas are not displayed. This is because Krae Glas does not have a history_branch record in which the history_to field is empty.
