Bug Description
I often (I am not sure it always happens, it is hard to be sure) get libnotify popups when I select a folder (e.g. the folder I filter my spam into) which contains unread mail, regardless of when that mail arrived. (I don't get notifications when mail arrives in these folders, which is probably correct and certainly not a problem.)
I am using Thunderbird 3.0.6 and libnotifypopups 0.2.1 on Ubuntu 10.04. My mail is accessed via IMAP; I have a Dovecot server running on the same machine and mail is delivered into Dovecot using mbsync

Thank you for your bug report. I have made some changes to the code and I believe this should be fixed now. Could you please test with the latest version from trunk? Open a terminal, install bazaar if
needed (sudo apt-get install bzr) and type bzr branch lp:libnotify-
mozilla to get the new version. Now run the build.sh file and a .xpi
should be created which you can install in Thunderbird. Thanks in
advance!
