Bug Description

gnome-do (with docky theme) crashes when on live cd reandomly and when certain tasks like full screen firefox, and any memory/cpu intense programs are in use

switching to metacity from compiz seems to help minimize crashing... IDK why but it seems to work, in any case it;s worth to see the system logs of the test computers and see what are the differences (memory being freed and being used more conservatively; not using so many programs?). if some one has a reason of why it might minimize crashes, or perhaps another way to do so, i would love to know ^^.

well the second latest gnome-do fixed it, version "0.8.3.1+dfsg-1ubuntu1". also having more than 512 mb of ram fixes this.
