If you select multiple applications for installation from Ubuntu Tweak / Applications Center and one or more selected applications fail to install properly, the pop up error message only says "Update Failed!" with no indication of which update or updates failed nor whether all updates failed or which ones were successfully installed.

Sorry, but this is invalid for the one hundred paper cuts project. You see, to qualify as a paper cut, it has to be about something that is shipped with the default installation of the latest release of ubuntu (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut). But I marked is as "also affects project" ubuntu-tweak.

But other than that, I agree that it's not good for non-nerds, so it's a great thing that you report it!

Not so fast. If the message originates from the standard Ubuntu install routine, it is still a papercut. I am not qualified to establish that, maybe one of you can, Vish, Martin.
