Please backport poppler .14.*

I am using gNewsense 2.3 (gnewsense.org) This distro is based on Hardy.

There is a bug fix in the newest version of poppler that allows me to view the type of pdf's that we use at work. Is it possible to backport the poppler pdf to work on with the Evince on Hardy?
