Embedded Kformula does not save in other formats

When saving a Kword document which has Kformula objects embedded in any format other than Kword document, the formula does not save. Current workaround for creating documents that require embedded formulas is to print to pdf, although this sometimes crashes Koffice.

This has been reported upstream and fixed in SVN. However, I ran into the problem when saving as a KWord document as well.

What version of koffice are you using?

It would be great if the patch could be applied in ubuntu's package.

This was a problem with 1.5.3 on Dapper Drake.

This still seems to be a problem in KOffice 1.6 in edgy, although the formulas still appear, but are corrupted.

OK, I just tested this both on Gutsy and Hardy which pretty much have the same exact code base for the current release of KOffice. Here is what I noticed:

- Create formula and save in Oasis Format, works like a charm
- Create formula and save in KWord format, it doesn't work

I am going to change out the bug number for the upstream report as there is another report, this time for KWord .kwd formats, which seems to be an issue still. Thanks!
