Bug Description
Gnome-ppp should be the default dialup connection application that the new user sees after installing Ubuntu as network-manager has problems and pppconfig is gui less.

Confirming this should be included. If this is not included it is impossible to dial-out, and hence impossible to connect to the internet. Network-Manager no longer supports dial-up, but there is a bug report which is getting "little to no" attention on that here: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ network- manager/ +bug/74142
