kmix doesn't work after login

Binary package hint: kdemultimedia

after login, kmix doesn't work: no icon in the traybar and so i can't change volume with multimedia button of my notebook.

I can confirm this issue.

The process kmix itself starts as it's in the processlist. There's no tray icon though. When i manually close kmix and then restart it, the icon shows up in the systray and my multimedia buttons start working. Is there a way we can provide more information?

in maverick after upgrade to kde 4.6.1 , kmix(3.8) seem it has some problem with LANG:

hi have to:
   $ killall kmix
an then
   $ LANG=en kmix
with LANG en there are no problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
every time on system boot
